We are planning the following upcoming events to contribute and help with our local environment in-line with our our bid to serve our planet in a small way where we can.
Listed below are the upcoming dates that are planned to assist with The Friends of Telford Town Park, we have already helped on a couple of occasions over the past few months and we are keen to continue helping in the future.
In addition to the above we are also planning a High Ercall Site 1 Tidy up to help with the Wildflowers we are currently in the process of planting.

Serving Our Planet in a Small Way Where We Can at Site 1, High Ercall, Tidy up 21 st September 2024.
Simmonds are planting Wildflowers on the previous grassland areas @ Site 1 in order to bring more wildlife and improve accessibility for people to share and enjoy.
On 21st September we will be sowing the seeds, weather dependant. We are after volunteers to help rake/sow some areas which are difficult to reach with a tractor.
We will also be having a more general tidy up of rubbish, etc around the site.
If anyone wants to come along and help that would be fantastic. There is no pay but anyone who help from 9am to 1pm will be given a half days holiday in lieu.
We will meet at Site 1 at 9am until approx. 12 noon. Just wear normal work clothes and good shoes. Bring a drink and snack if required.
Serving Our Planet in a Small Way Where We Can With the Friends of Telford Town Park (FOTTP) on-going work parties.
Simmonds are helping to fund improvements to a beautiful area with a pool in the park needing a bit of tlc and to help with enjoyable and productive labour on various working party mornings.
The plan is to bring in more wildlife and improve accessibility for people to share and enjoy.
FOTTP are holding a working parties funded by Simmonds Transport on the following dates
The 1st Working Party was held on Saturday 17th August and was a great success and Adrian Smith, Chairman of FOTTP states “I must say a huge thank you to all who helped on the day”

Friends and family are also very welcome.
